  • Flood and ebb tide operation
  • 40 ft water depth in berth
  • 12 ft/yr previous shoaling rate
  • Installed in 1998

CITGO Petroleum Corporation

The SedCon® Turbo System installed at the CITGO Petroleum Corporation terminal in Linden, NJ has the following characteristics:

  • Four, 42-inch Turbo Units
  • 75 hp hydraulic power source
  • Flood and ebb tide operation
  • 36 ft water depth in berth
  • 15 ft/yr previous shoaling rate
  • Installed in 2002

BAE Systems — Jacksonville, FL

The SedCon® Turbo Systems installed at the BAE Systems Jacksonville Ship Repair facility have the following characteristics:

  • Two systems, six Turbo Units/system
  • 125 hp hydraulic power source
  • Flood and ebb tide operation
  • 18 ft/yr previous shoaling rate
  • Installed in 2025

Georgia Ports Authority

Three documented SedCon® Turbo Systems are installed at Georgia Ports Authority Garden City Terminal in Savannah, GA. Each has the following characteristics:

  • Eight, 42-inch Turbo Units/system
  • 100-125 hp hydraulic power sources
  • Flood and ebb tide operation
  • 42 ft water depth in berth
  • 10 ft/yr previous shoaling rate
  • Installed in 2003 (CB 6/7), 2008 (CB 8/9), and 2020 (CB 4/5)

SC State Ports Authority

There are two SedCon® Turbo Systems installed at the SC State Ports Authority Columbus Street Terminal in Charleston, SC. Each has the following characteristics:

  • Five, 36-inch Turbo Units
  • 125 hp hydraulic power sources
  • Ebb and flood tide operation
  • 45 ft water depth in berth
  • 24 ft/yr previous shoaling rate
  • Installed in 2006

US Navy

The SedCon® Turbo System installed at the U.S. Navy SUBASE in Kings Bay, GA has the following characteristics:

  • Seven, 36-inch Turbo Units
  • 50 hp hydraulic power source
  • Stainless steel components
  • Fresh water hydraulics
  • Flood tide operation only
  • 42 ft water depth in berth
  • 5 ft/yr previous shoaling rate
  • Installed in 2007

Center Point Terminal

The SedCon® Turbo Systems installed at Center Point Terminal in Jacksonville, FL has the following characteristics:
